Mix it Up at Lunch Day is celebrated in schools throughout the nation as a way to encourage students to socialize with new people during lunch. This year, we read
Same, Same But Different by Jenny Sue Kostecki-Shaw and filled out an "All About Me" poster that our fifth grade Ambassadors used to launch discussions at lunch. Students sat with other children who were born in the same month. As always, we had a great time and made connections with new people.
