Coretta Scott King Magnet School is an International Baccalaureate school priding itself on serving multicultural kindergarten through fifth grade students who reside in Crete, Monee, Park Forest, and University Park. Our school helps students develop the intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills that promote lifelong learning and successful citizenship. Our focus on being internationally minded facilitates meaningful in-depth inquiries on world issues and encourages students to take action based upon their learning. Student admission is based on an application and lottery process.
